Bởi vì hard drive format FAT32 nên bạn cần SW name Folder sort là làm cho những bản nhạc theo thứ tự từ A-Z, nếu dạng NTFS thì bạn khỏi cần, bạn có thể search google và download free. Bạn có the format hard drive dạng NTFS nhưng theo mình thấy dạng FAT32 thì media player search songs nhanh hơn nhiều so sánh với NTFS nếu bạn có khỏang vài ngàn bản nhạc karaoke (khỏang 500G tới 1TB hard drive). Bạn dùng SW acronic true image to format hard drive to FAT32. Mình đã test cái máy media player này rồi. Mặc khác bạn có thể bỏ phim lẻ hoặc phim bộ vô hard drive và coi luôn không cần phải burn ra disc.

This is a media player only, it can connect to a hard drive by USB2 cable. So, you need to buya hard drive to store your media in there. I prefer a 2.5" portable hard drive around 500G because the player will provide the power. If you use 3.5" HDD, you need the power.
The price is for $50 last week, now $56??? I boght it with promotion only $40 with free shipping. So if you can wait for awhile, they might be have promotion again.

Có nhiều Media Player lại không thể bấm số để chọn bài được, bạn có biết lý do tại sao không? Ví dụ như hộp Markus-800 thì không thể đươc. Và khi đã có source .vob copy từ những máy khác thì không thể tắt tiếng đươc. Bạn có biết lý do tại sao không? Chẳng hạn như hộp POPCORN C-200. Không biết có phải là do source .vob do người ta rip có vấn đề không vậy? Xin mách bảo dùm. Cám ơn nhiều.

Không phải do bản nhạc .vob mà tại vì firmware manufacture design thôi. Mình research nhiều media player rồi, chỉ có Argosy Hv-676 là có thể chọn bản nhac. Bạn có thể mua Argosy HV-358 hoặc HV-359 thì bạn có thể bỏ 3.5" hard drive vào trong đó không cần dùng USB2 nhưng nó hơi bự và kồng kềnh không tiện cho mang trong người.

Lưu ý các bạn dùng media player Argosy HV-676. Hard drive hiệu Western Digital WD sometime the player nó không đọc được, còn mấy hiệu khác như Seagate, Toshiba... thì OK, mình nghĩ WD hard drive cần nhiều juice (0.55 amp.) so với mấy hard drive khác. Mình đã test và thấy như vậy. Cho nên các bạn đừng mua WD hard drive khi dùng với Media player này.

how many songs can the HV-676 read from the external hard drive?
I kown the HV358 and HV359 only support 2048 songs in each folder. I used a 1.5tb hard drvie and format it to fat32 and it hold about 8000 songs. I have to split it in 4 folder.

Sorry. I am not sure how many files it can supported, my hard drive had less than 2000 songs which is good enough for me. May be someone else must known.

Can someone tell me whether you can reserve the songs? I am about to build a HTPC however if this media box allow me to search for songs and reserve them in a play list then it's a cheaper option.

If you want a system that reserve songs and can hold more songs, try looking at the vivsys 1.5k. I have that unit. It's more expensive but works really well. you can check it out at www.vivsys.com. Currently I have 7000 songs on a 1.5tb hard drive. It can reserve up to 25 songs.

1-Decrypter để lấy từng bản ra bản nào bạn thich
2-Ifoedit Để edit audio
3-sau đó dùng Imageburn để burn vào dvd thì mới được

1/ Sau khi bạn rip tất cả bài hát dạng song.vob.
2/ Bạn phải reauthor các bản nhạc lại đề thành 1 DVD standard (Software bạn có thể tìm trong phần software của web)
3/ Dùng Nero Express trong phần video/picture và chọn DVD/video files and burn.

I have a couple thousand songs in VOB format and all are labeled by code numbers so do you just enter the song numbers on the remote control or you press the "GOTO" button and then enter numbers? I'm planing to get this unit if it can do the search by entering numbers on the remote control. Right now I'm using the WDTV it works fine except one thing if you search for song title you have to use the directional arrow to enter the number or letters on the TV screen because WDTV remote control doesn't have number key pad on it.

This remote unit have number key pad, You just use remote to enter the song number, the unit will find that song and play right away. I do know some WD hard drive model can not compatible with this unit (it's still playing song but the audio will delay some period of time, I do not know why, I have WD Elite 500G which cause this problem, then I swith to difference one and it eliminate that problem)
I do not know how many song this unit can handle because I have less than 2000 song.
Also, You need to create a songs list by using bulk rename utility software (I think is the best software for me) if you have couple thousand songs and want to put them in order by number from 00 to xxx in just a minute so you don't have to type number for each song.(It a free software)
